8)Make a Contribution to PUEBLO

"Whatever you do may seem insignificant, but it is most important that you do it."

-- Mahatma Gandhi

This January PUEBLO received a very generous anonymous donation in the amount of $15,000 dollars. Gifts like these are rare and we are extremely grateful to the donor, whoever they are. And, as a way to show our gratitude we are asking our supporters, including those who've already given in the last few months, to help us match this gift.

A few months ago we received a donation of $3 from a very grateful woman who had been directly impacted by PUEBLO's organizing efforts of her fellow tenants in her apartment complex. Her $3 donation was without question of great sacrifice to her and her family since she, along with 30 other families faced certain eviction. But, she gave because she understood the impact PUEBLO had in the community.

Everyone is talking about the economy and the challenges all non-profits will face in the next couple of years as resources begin to shrink. But, it is precisely in times like these when your donation, of whatever size matters most. It doesn't matter if you can give $5 or $5,000, what matters is that you give.

Let's turn $15,000 into $30,000!

At PUEBLO we talk, we organize, we mobilize!

Please send checks made out to PUEBLO to 114 E. Haley St. Suite E, Santa Barbara, CA 93101 and make sure to write "match" in the memo. Or, give us a call if you would like to donate using your credit or debit card.

If you would like to become a Movement Builder by making a monthly or quarterly donation please contact Gerardo Ayala at 882-2484, ext. 4.
