GOTV - Get Out the Vote!


This TUESDAY, JUNE 8TH is ELECTION DAY!

With competitive races and dirty campaign ads confusing voters, this difference in this election will be our ability to turnout working class, low-income, Latino and progressive voters. We have the opportunity to get out and support some great local candidates and we need to mobilize voters in our neighborhoods if we hope to see Das Williams, Janet Wolf, and Joyce Dudley elected to continue working with them on improving the quality of life for all residents county-wide.

We will be knocking doors, making phone calls, and leaving fliers to make sure that our communities know where to vote and who will best represent our interests. We need at least 100 volunteers to make this election a success. Invite a friend and give us a call to let us know when and where you can help out. We will be contacting voters in Santa Barbara and Goleta on the following days and times:

GOTV WEEKEND, Saturday through Monday -
Meet at the PUEBLO Office, (114 E. Haley St. Suite E, Downtown SB)

Saturday: 1:30pm to 8pm
Sunday: 1:30pm to 8pm
Monday: 10am to 8pm

ELECTION DAY, Tuesday -
For Downtown Santa Barbara: Meet at the PUEBLO Office, (114 E. Haley St. Suite E, Downtown SB)

For Goleta and the La Cumbre area: Meet at the Goleta Valley Community Center in Room 6, (5679 Hollister Ave., Old Town Goleta):

6:00am: Morning Flier Drops
11:00am: Lunchtime Walks and Phonebanks
2:00pm: Afternoon Walks and Phonebanks
5:00-8:00pm: Evening Walks and Phonebanks
8:30pm: Election Victory Parties
